Lip reader reveals what Prince William uttered to Kate Middleton as they attend Commonwealth service

In March 2024, the Princess of Wales, 43, announced that she’d be taking a temporary gap from the public eye after having been diagnosed with canc3r.

Therefore, many body language experts chose to keep an eye on Kate to see how she’d fare under the watchful eye of the public.

One fan has recorded a particular piece of footage of Kate from earlier today (10 March), which saw husband Prince William, 42, whispering something into her ear as they entered the religious landmark.

The Princess was captured wearing a breathtaking hot pink gown – designed by Catherine Walker – and hat by Gina Foster as she entered Westminster. It was then that she and William were welcomed by Dr David Hoyle, Dean of the Abbey.

According to lip reading expert Jeremy Freeman, a clip of the moment – which has since done the rounds on social media -recorded Kate turning towards the person on her left and allegedly uttering the word, ‘Thanks’.

She supposedly then turns to William, telling the future King the celebrations are ‘so lovely’.

“During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted,” a statement published at the time read.

“Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of canc3r.”

The most recent update on the King’s health came in September, when Palace officials announced that His Majesty’s ‘treatment has been moving in a positive direction and as a managed condition the treatment cycle will continue into next year’.

The message was added: “There is a sense of optimism, which can be seen in the King’s desire to keep up a busy schedule of public engagements, including during the festive period.”

Thankfully, however, it seems as though Kate is officially improving.

The Princess confirmed that her canc3r was now in remission during a January visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea – where she previously received her treatment.

“I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to The Royal Marsden for taking care of me so well during the past year,” she gushed.

“My heartfelt thanks goes to all those who have quietly walked alongside William and me as we have navigated everything.”

Kate shared: “We couldn’t have asked for more. The care and advice we have received throughout my time as a patient has been exceptional.”
