Donald Trump reveals he ‘doesn’t know how long he’ll be around’ in concerning admission

President Donald Trump recently said he “doesn’t know how long” he will be around, comments he made earlier this week during National Angel Family Day.

According to an official White House statement released on February 23, the event was held to honor American families who have lost loved ones to crimes involving undocumented immigrants and drug trafficking. The statement emphasized support for “Angel Families” and reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to expanding deportation efforts and strengthening border enforcement.

Trump’s immigration policies — along with the actions of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) — have drawn strong criticism from opponents. Critics argue that the crackdown has, at times, overlooked due process protections, as reported by Al Jazeera.

In a video shared on Instagram by Firstpost, Trump remarked that “consequential presidents” are often targeted. He referenced past leaders such as Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy, suggesting that major historical figures often face greater risks.

These remarks followed a security incident at Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s Florida residence.

An armed man drove into the secured perimeter of the property early Sunday morning. According to United States Secret Service, the individual was confronted by agents and a Palm Beach County deputy. Authorities said he was carrying a gas can and a shotgun. After he allegedly raised the weapon, officers fired and the suspect was k*lled.

The man was later identified as 21-year-old Austin Tucker Martin. Trump was not at the property at the time of the incident and was instead at the White House in Washington, D.C.

Separately, Trump has also outlined major plans for the United States’ 250th anniversary on July 4. Under his “Freedom 250” initiative — distinct from the bipartisan America 250 effort — he has proposed several high-profile events.

Trump, a longtime supporter of the promotion and friend of UFC president Dana White, said the event could draw 20,000 to 25,000 attendees.

He has also proposed building a 250-foot monument called the “Independence Arch” near the Lincoln Memorial, and floated the idea of minting commemorative $1 coins bearing his image — though current law prohibits living individuals from appearing on U.S. currency.

Additional ideas reportedly include hosting athletic competitions known as the “Patriot Games” and exploring the possibility of a racing event along the National Mall.

Together, Trump’s recent remarks and proposals have drawn significant public attention, sparking both support and debate across the political spectrum.
