The Barbershop Donations
A nun walked into a barbershop to ask for donations to repair the church roof. The barber was very generous; he immediately pulled out a 50-dollar bill and handed it to her. The nun was deeply grateful and said:
– “Thank you, sir. May God bless you. When you wake up tomorrow morning, you will find a surprise.”
– “Thank you, sir. May God bless you. When you wake up tomorrow morning, you will find a surprise.”
The next morning, when the barber opened his shop, he was astonished to find 12 premium loaves of bread and a fresh bouquet of flowers neatly placed at the door.
The following day, a priest passed by and also came in to ask for a donation. The barber happily gave him 50 dollars again. The priest blessed him: “May God bless you, you will have a surprise tomorrow.” The next morning, the barber found 12 Bibles sitting in front of his door.
On the third day, a Rabbi walked into the shop. The barber gave him 50 dollars as well and received a similar blessing.
On the fourth morning, when the barber arrived at his shop, he was shocked to see… 12 other Rabbis standing in line, waiting to ask for donations!
