Why is it difficult for men to forgive when women ch.e.a.t?but Women Will
Men have a reputation for being ruthless when they discover that their partners are ch.e.a.t.ing.
So why is it that men never forgive when they catch a ch.e.a.t.i.n.g partner?
Because they simply cannot bear the reality that another man is with [or on] their woman.
1. Emotional triggers
Men usually take physical infidelity more seriously. Most men can’t get over the idea that another man has had sexual relations with what they consider “their woman.” A man may wonder how his partner feels about sex with him compared to the other man. These images can torture him every time he sees the woman.
2. Psychological torture
However, when a man confirms that his wife is c.h.e.a.t.i.n.g, that image is permanently etched into his brain, and most men leave unless they have young children whom they feel obligated to care for.
3. Self-blaming
Women have this version of a perfect ideal woman that does no harm. They blame themselves when their man ch.e.a.t.s.
Whereas men think differently. They see no socially acceptable for a woman to ch.e.a.t because she is supposed to be virtuous.
4. Public Shame
Tradition, family, religion, society, and personal views on what is good and bad encourage even the most tormented wife to forgive a ch.e.a.t.i.n.g. husband.
When a man learns that his wife has been ch.e.a.t.i.n.g, he gets mixed emotions. He becomes angry, sad, jealous, frustrated, and may not know who to express his feelings to.
Not to be ridiculed by his friends and family, a man is unlikely to forgive his c.h.e.a.t.i.n.g wife.
5. Fears of divorce
Women are afraid to deal with the challenges of divorce. They believe that being a single mother is not a better solution than staying to settle the relationship.
Men, on the other hand, are not objectified the way women are. They are not subjected to humiliation, nor is their character questioned when they choose to divorce their wives.
