2. Sinus headache
Sinus headaches occur when the sinus cavities in your head become blocked. Sometimes they happen as a result of a sinus infection, which doesn’t go away on its own.
When you feel immense pressure in your teeth, along your cheekbones, or just above your eyes, you should see a doctor to make sure you don’t have an infection.
If you do, you will be prescribed antibiotics, which should clear up the infection in about a week.
3. Migraine
It is characterized by severe throbbing pain or a pulsing sensation on one side of the head. Migraines are usually accompanied by vomiting, nausea, and excessive sensitivity to light and sound. Migraines can last from hours to days. They are usually as painful.
4. Cluster Headaches
Cluster headaches are one of the most painful as they occur in cyclical patterns or clusters. A cluster headache is characterized by intense pain in or around one eye on one side of the head that wakes you up in the middle of the night. They can linger for weeks to months and are often followed by periods of remission, during which the headaches disappear.
