A marriage therapist was leading a seminar on relationship happiness.
Standing in front of the crowd, he proudly announced,
“I’ve spent years studying couples, and I’ve developed a simple theory: the more often a couple m*kes l*ve, the happier they are.”
The audience nodded with interest.
So the therapist decided to test his theory.
“How many couples here m*ke l*ve once a day?”
About half the room raised their hands, all smiling confidently.
“Excellent,” the therapist said. “Now, how about once a week?”
Another group raised their hands. They looked reasonably happy too.
“Once a month?”
A few hesitant hands slowly went up.
The therapist nodded thoughtfully, feeling more confident than ever.
Then he asked,
“Alright… how many couples here m*ke l*ve only once a year?”
Suddenly, a man in the very back of the room leaped to his feet waving both arms like he’d just won the lottery.
“ME! ME!”
He was grinning ear to ear, practically bouncing with excitement.
The therapist looked completely confused.
“Well sir,” he said, “that completely destroys my theory. If you only m*ke l*ve once a year… why on earth are you SO happy?”
The man yelled:
“BECAUSE TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT!” 😂
