Candace Cameron Bure explains the terrible reason her family moved from Los Angeles

Candace Cameron Bure is not the first celebrity to leave Los Angeles in recent years, and she is unlikely to be the last.

The former Full House actress recently talked with Fox News Digital about her choice to relocate her family out of City of Angels.

“We didn’t feel safe anymore,” she admits. “And that was the biggest reason that we moved.”

The 48-year-old actress and mother of three adult children described how not everyone in Los Angeles lives behind gates, and how those who don’t frequently put their safety at risk.

She described how, in recent years, her family has faced problems with individuals taking photos, lurking on their property, and even approaching their door.

“It’s amazing what people feel they can do,” she said. “And wanting to be a part of your life in some way. Some of it is innocent, some of it wasn’t. But it’s quite unnerving when you’re just trying to be a person and live life, and you don’t know what’s around the corner.”

Recently, she turned to Instagram to answer a frequently requested question.

Yes, the Bure family had relocated from Los Angeles.

“‘Why?’ Mostly for security reasons,” she shared on her Instagram Story. “Also, family dynamics have changed. The kids don’t live in Los Angeles anymore. Mama will go where they go! I travel a lot. The seasons of life.”

She did not reveal where she moved to her supporters, but she confirmed to Fox News Digital that she is still in California.

‘There have been all kinds of stories as to where we moved, and none of them are right,” Bure said. “None of them. We didn’t move to Nashville. We didn’t move to Texas. We’re actually still in California. We just moved up north. We’re no longer in Los Angeles.”

It’s entirely understandable that Bure and her family would wish to relocate if so-called admirers approached them at their private home.
