Little Stijn was lying back in bed while an adult picked up Merle so he could look her in the face as she started ‘talking’ to him.
The little girl babbled in confusion as she stared into his eyes. Merle seemed to understand exactly what she was saying as he was clearly paying attention to every noise she made.
The two babies were so absorbed in what they were saying, completely oblivious to the fact that either parent was filming the event.
Merle must have said something that Stijn found amusing because at one point, she flashed a grin that almost covered her face as she stared into his eyes!
When the short video clip was uploaded to the internet, it quickly went viral and currently boasts over 21 million views on YouTube as of this writing.
