My grandpa went to apply for his Social Security benefits.
Everything was going smoothly…
Until the clerk asked for his ID.
Grandpa patted every pocket.
Then checked his wallet again.
His face dropped.
“Oh no… I left my ID at home.”
The clerk smiled for a moment, then said,
“Well… unbutton your shirt for me.”
Confused, Grandpa did as he was told.
She looked at his thick silver chest hair, laughed, and said,
“That’ll do.”
“You’re definitely old enough!”
She finished the paperwork and approved his application.
Grandpa couldn’t wait to tell Grandma when he got home.
He proudly said,
“Can you believe it? All I had to do was show my gray chest hair!”
Grandma burst out laughing.
Then, without missing a beat, she said,
“You should’ve dropped your pants too.”
Grandpa blinked.
“Why on earth would I do that?”
Grandma grinned.
“Because they probably would’ve approved your disability benefits too!” 😂🤣
