A completely exhausted man rushed into the doctor’s office.
“Doctor, you have to help me! My wife has a terrible sleepwalking problem, and it’s ruining my life!”
The doctor nodded sympathetically.
“Sleepwalking can certainly be disruptive. What does she do?”
The man sighed.
“Every night, she gets out of bed, walks straight over to my side, and starts punching, kicking, and yelling at me!”
The doctor frowned.
“Interesting. And you’re absolutely certain she’s asleep when this happens?”
The man slowly leaned forward and whispered,
“That’s the problem, Doctor…”
“I’m too scared to find out.”
The doctor paused.
“So you’re saying she might not be sleepwalking?”
The man nodded nervously.
“Exactly.”
The doctor sighed.
“Sir, I think your wife has a condition called ‘wide awake and still angry.’”
The man immediately asked,
“Is there a cure?”
The doctor shook his head.
“Not for her.”
“But I might be able to write you a prescription for a locked bedroom door.”
