Meghan Markle touched royal fans’ hearts with a sweet video featuring her daughter, Princess Lilibet, and a thoughtful gift brought home by Prince Harry.
After attending a two-day Court of Appeal hearing in London regarding his UK security arrangements on April 8 and 9, the Duke of Sussex made a brief but meaningful visit to war-torn Ukraine.
Following his trip, Harry returned to California to reunite with Meghan and their two children, including their five-year-old son, Prince Archie. During his return, he surprised his family with a heartfelt gift—a cake he brought back from Ukraine.
Meghan posted a touching moment on her Instagram story showing three-year-old Lilibet cutting the cake and handing a slice to her father, who remained off-camera. As she passed the slice, Harry could be heard laughing warmly and saying, “Thank you.”
In the post, alongside a photo of the family’s breakfast spread, Meghan wrote: “A special gift ‘papa brought back from Ukraine’” with a pink heart emoji.
The clip quickly went viral on X (formerly Twitter), moving fans to tears.
One admirer wrote, “Oh my heart,” while another praised Harry as “a wonderful dad, a fantastic husband, a remarkable person, and an excellent example for his children.”
Others chimed in with emotional messages, calling the moment “the cutest” and expressing affection for the young royals.
Ukraine’s Economy Minister Yulia Svyrydenko also reacted emotionally to the video, posting a screenshot and sharing that her team was brought to tears.
She noted that the cake had been made by grandmothers from Ukraine’s Sumy region using flour sourced from demined fields, and that it sat beside a traditional pysanka (Ukrainian Easter egg) crafted in honor of Ira by artist Oksana Tsybukh.
While Harry visited Ukraine, Meghan enjoyed a night out in New York City.
She attended a performance of the Broadway musical Gypsy, later praising the show on Instagram. “If you get a chance to see @gypsybway, you absolutely must,” she wrote. Meghan applauded the cast and crew for their magical performance and shared her admiration for lead actress Audra McDonald, writing: “Her performance will leave you speechless. Full body chills.”
