Miley Cyrus was nominated for Best Original Song for the film Showgirl, starring Pamela Anderson. The exquisite ballad Beautiful That Way was co-written by Swedish musician Lykke Li and American composer Andrew Wyatt. Cyrus referred to the song as a “love letter.”
The Hannah Montana star arrived on the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel wearing a Celine black, form-fitting floor-length dress. The dress had deep cutouts around her midsection and an open back, allowing the public to see her toned abs and numerous tattoos.
The evening gown featured rhinestones on the bodice, adding a touch of elegance to Miley’s style. Cyrus has been dubbed the s.e.xiest celebrity on the red carpet by social media users.
The Can’t Be Tamed singer wore her hair high, with bangs flowing over her brow. Her purposefully disheveled ponytail at the back of her neck resembled Pamela Anderson’s trademark 90s haircut. Miley finished off her ensemble with black-heeled sandals and vibrant makeup. She enhanced her lips with pink lipstick and accented her eyes with sparkling silver makeup. Miley shielded her eyes behind a pair of Chanel sunglasses.
Miley’s fans have differing opinions on her dress.

However, several people deemed her appearance rude and off:ens:ive. “She chose the wrong dress for such an award,” “Sorry, but why does she always look so vulgar?” “I wish her dress covered her chest,” and “Miley confused the Golden Globes with a nightclub,” were some of the critical comments from bloggers.
Demi Moore, “the tough nut’s” ex-girlfriend, attended the wedding as well. The 62-year-old American actress received the prize for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical for her performance in Substance. She wore a metallic corset dress to the event.
Angelina Jolie attended the wedding with her 19-year-old daughter, Zahara. The 49-year-old actress looked stunning in a sparkly, form-fitting gown embellished with gems. She was nominated for Best Actress in a Drama for her portrayal in the biopic of opera diva Maria Callas, but Fernanda Torres won the award for I’m Still Here.
Russian actor Yuri Borisov was also nominated for this prestigious prize. However, American actor Kieran Culkin won the Best Supporting Actor award for his work in Real Pain.
