I was at Walmart one day and stopped by the restroom.
I walked into a stall, closed the door, and was just getting comfortable when suddenly…
A voice from the next stall said,
“Hey… how are you doing?”
I froze.
“Wow… friendly restroom,” I thought.
Trying to be polite, I replied,
“Uh… I’m doing alright.”
Then the voice asked,
“So… what are you up to?”
Feeling a little awkward, I answered,
“Well… just trying to handle a little business over here.”
A few seconds of silence passed.
Then the voice asked,
“Can I come over?”
I was shocked.
“Excuse me?!”
The person in the next stall suddenly said,
“Hold on, I have to call you back…”
Then I heard him continue,
“There’s some crazy person in the next stall answering all your questions!”
That’s when I realized…
He wasn’t talking to me at all.
He was just on the phone.
And I had been having a conversation with a complete stranger… who never knew he was part of it. 😂
