A mother rushed her 16-year-old daughter to the doctor for a routine checkup.
After examining her, the doctor looked at the mother and said,
“Ma’am… your daughter is about four months pregnant.”
The mother nearly fell out of her chair.
“Pregnant?! That’s impossible! She’s never even been with a man!”
The daughter quickly added,
“I haven’t! I’ve never even kissed a man!”
The doctor stared at them both for a moment.
Then, without saying a word, he slowly walked over to the window and gazed up at the sky.
The mother looked confused.
“Doctor… what are you doing?”
The doctor kept staring out the window.
“I’m just waiting.”
“Waiting for what?”
He sighed.
“The last time I heard a story like this, a star appeared in the sky and three wise men showed up.”
He glanced back at them.
“I missed that miracle.”
Then he turned back toward the window.
“This time, I’m not missing it!”
