When curiosity meets confidence… and loses $10
A wealthy man is walking through a rural market, looking around like he’s hunting for “good investments.”
He spots a young boy sitting by a stall, casually chewing apple seeds.
The rich man frowns.
Rich Man: “Kid… why are you chewing those seeds like that?”
The boy replies calmly:
Kid: “So I can become smarter.”
The rich man pauses.
His eyes narrow.

The kid nods like it’s obvious.

The rich man leans in.
Rich Man: “Sell me some.”
The kid smiles.
Kid: “Ten dollars for two seeds.”
Without hesitation, the man pulls out the money.
He takes the seeds… and starts chewing aggressively.
People around them start watching.
Seconds pass.
Then minutes.
The rich man finally stops, confused.
Rich Man: “I’ve been chewing for a while now… I don’t feel any smarter.”
He looks annoyed.
Rich Man: “For ten dollars, I could’ve bought a whole bag of apples.”
The kid looks at him and grins.
