If You Can’t Do These 8 Things Together, Then You’re Not Meant To Be
1. You feel secure in your relationship.
Your relationship should be a refuge for you. It should help heal all the broken parts in you. A relationship should never feed your fears and insecurities. So you know that things will not work out for you if your relationship is not secure.
2. Have fun together as a couple.
In the end, if you are not having fun, then there is no point. That is why you should always make sure that you are having fun. If you are not having fun, it shows that this relationship is not for you.
3. You are shopping for each other.
You should still be able to go shopping WITH each other and FOR each other. You need to be able to shop together to buy things for the house. If something as simple as this is impossible for both of you, then you know you are having serious difficulties that you need to resolve as a couple.
4. They are completely honest with each other.
You should always be honest with each other in your relationship. If you both feel that there are certain aspects of your private life that you need to hide, then this means that you are not at all in an ideal relationship.
5. Sit quietly without feeling uncomfortable.
You don’t always have to do something exciting to have fun. You don’t always have to go to luxurious places to have fun with each other. You should be able to enjoy each other’s presence, even if you stay at home and sit in silence.
6. Allow each other space and privacy.
It’s not because you get into a relationship that you abandon your sense of individuality. You should always set boundaries for each other. You should both be able to be your own people. And if you are not able to respect each other’s individuality and privacy, then you are in a toxic relationship that is not built to last.
7. Support each other’s goals and dreams.
If you feel that your relationship forces you to give up everything you want for yourself, then it’s counterproductive to what a relationship should be.
8. Communicate effectively with each other.
You will never make things work if you don’t know how to express yourself to each other. You always have to feel safe to talk about anything. And you must also be able to listen to each other.
