The school bus surveillance camera catches the driver getting up to a terrified little boy, while the children stare helplessly at the whole scene
While Mrs. Ginger Maxville was driving a public school bus in Mannford, she was able to save the life of a 5-year-old child after noticing that the little boy was in a hopeless situation.
The students usually did everything in their power to have fun during the trip. As a result, the driver checked from time to time if all the passengers were behaving nicely.
Then, suddenly, he heard a noise he would not soon forget. One of the children alerted her that a little boy was suffocating.
Cameron, a little boy’s sister, stood up and shouted, “I think he swallowed a coin!” Looking at the child, the driver quickly realized that the situation was quite serious because he had blushed and could barely breathe.
Initially the woman was overwhelmed by the situation, and did not immediately know what to do. Fortunately, her panic lasted only a few moments before she got up from her chair and intervened to save the child.
Without thinking, he immediately stopped the bus, and applied the Heimlich Maneuver to the child (a common maneuver in such cases). In a few moments, the boy removed the coin, and his life was out of danger.
Following this happily concluded event, both the school administration and the student’s parents overwhelmed her with words of praise, flowers, and candy.
